Surrounded by forest the accommodation offer unsurpassed views of the Scotsdale Valley. The property abounds with wildlife and is a bird watchers paradise. Pack a picnic and explore the 50 acres of karri forest at your doorstep. Wake up every morning to choirs of kookaburras and magpies. Share magnificent sunsets with the kangaroos that visit the property daily. Situated in the heart of the Denmark winery district, the chalets are close to galleries and local attractions. Karrak Reach is tailored for people who want to experience the spirit of Denmark and who respect and appreciate the environment. We hope guests will enjoy wandering in the forest and experiencing the wildflowers and birdlife. Karrak Reach is also a small working farm and trufflerie.



Karrak Reach has 3 superbly built chalets with spas and a family cottage in a magnificent setting, nestled into a giant karri forest with spectacular views across the Scotsdale valley. Well behaved dogs are welcome inside subject to our "Pet Terms & Conditions".

The property is located at Lot 13 Silver Rd. From Albany, after the bridge Denmark township. Turn right into Hollings St . Then take the next turn right at the roundabout into Scotsdale Road. Travel along this road for approximately 11km.
About 1km before Silver Rd you will see Roberts Rd and Paul Nelson Winery on the left. Stay on Scotsdale Rd and Silver Rd will be the next turn on the right. Be sure to keep an eye out for it as if you are not familiar with the area it can be easy to go past it. Go up Silver Rd for approximately 1km and take the first road on the left. This is the access road to the property. It is well signposted. The road goes across the paddocks and into the forest. Take care when travelling along this road and for safety please observe the speed limits. It is a single lane road and you may encounter cars coming in the other direction. There are several bays along the road to enable cars to pass each other. The road comes out into the clearing at the top of a hill. Be sure to come to a complete stop at the stop sign as the road is steep. The chalets and cottage are down to the left.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY-For cancellations made more than 28 days prior to arrival booking funds will be refunded less a 20% cancellation fee. For cancellations made more than 7 days prior to arrival booking funds will be refunded less a 50% cancellation fee. For cancellations made less than 7 days in advance of arrival no refund is applicable. Refunds will be given less bank and administration costs. The 3% bank charge on credit cards is non refundable. No refund given for reduction in days or guest numbers.

Your check in time is 2.00 PM and check out is STRICTLY 10:00 AM on the day of your departure. Late departure may result in an extra days tariff being charged.

Terms & Conditions
All Holiday Accommodation stays are subject to the following conditions;

Guest/s are advised;

All rates are based on two persons sharing one bedroom. An extra bedroom is $30 per night per person.
Specials do not apply in school holidays or long weekends.
2 night minimum at all times except Xmas Season and Easter (4 night minimum).

One night available with a surcharge- please make direct contact with the owner.
Children must be supervised at all times while on the property.

Pet dog friendly( a charge applies) but not available on a 1 night stay.

All rates & charges must be paid by cash bank cheque or credit card prior to occupancy unless prior arrangements have been made.
The guest will be liable to pay any charges incurred by any Guest including replacements and costs for damage or loss to the property or common property and it contents. The property is to be left clean and tidy with all dishes washed and put away. All used items correctly stored in cupboards and all rubbish bagged and put into bins or removed from the property. To avoid an excessive cleaning charge of $50 please leave the property well presented.

The property must not be use for unlawful purposes and guests are requested to keep noise to a minimum ensuring everyone has peaceful enjoy
