Cancellation Policy

BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These are the Terms and Conditions that apply to tours booked and carried out by and trading as Great Southern Comfort Tours and are necessary for the benefit of everyone who goes on a tour. By making a booking you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
TOUR OPERATOR (Trading as GREAT SOUTHERN COMFORT TOURS) RESPONSIBILITIES
In accepting a tour booking the operator agrees:
To maintain licenses and permits to carry out tours booked
To maintain liability and indemnity insurance
To maintain tour vehicle in the highest standards and up to date safety compliance
TRAVELLER RESPONSIBILITIES
You accept full responsibility for the safe keeping of personal property and loss or damage to personal effects. On request lost property will be returned via a pre-paid and addressed Australia Post envelope or courier at current postal costs.
You accept the physical risks that may be part of some of the tour destinations. If a place of interest on tour requires some step access or uneven terrain you must be prepared with suitable clothing and footwear.
You must not commence on a tour if you are unfit to participate in the tour due to ill-health or injury.
CANCELLATION POLICY
The Tour Operator reserves the right to notify the tour guest of alterations cancellations and amendments to the tour in accordance with these terms and conditions.
The Tour Operator may cancel a tour at any time due to circumstances beyond their control or as stated below minimum numbers of 2 guests are not met and then the Traveller will be given a full refund or accommodated onto another tour of same value as soon as possible.
Bookings can be made at short notice and will need to be paid in full at time of booking. If the tour is cancelled by the traveller a 10% fee will be charged to the card used for payment or from the Tour Operator business account.
A minimum of two guests are required for a tour to operate and the Tour Operator may cancel a tour if that number is not met. The Tour Operator will try to re-schedule your tour if possible if not you will given a full refund.
GENERAL CONDITIONS between the Traveller and the Operator Great Southern Comfort Tours agree that:
Payment for our tours is generally at the time of booking. This can be done by Visa/Master card or direct deposit into the business bank account. Cancellations will incur a 10% charge to the credit card or deducted from the business bank account if notice is less than 72 hours prior to tour date.
A deposit of 50% is required for any tours booked in advance for dates 4 or more weeks ahead of tour date. The deposit is non refundable if tour is cancelled less than 7 days prior to tour date.
The price of a tour is GST inclusive unless stated otherwise.
The Tour Operator accepts no responsibility for passengers who fail to show up for tour at designated pickup points and no refund will be given.
COMPLAINTS
Traveller complaints will be dealt with immediately
Travellers should make all complaints directly to the Tour Operator verbally on the phone or in writing/email immediately on the day of the tour. The Tour Operator will remedy the complaint as soon as possible after all complaint details are conveyed.
The Tour Operator will not accept responsibility for complaints received more than 7 days after the tour date.
